Angels were created before the visible world and man. As St. Gregory Palamas characteristically says, “God created the angels before us, for us to be sent as deacons". As Paul says, "To future inherit salvation” (Ltd., vol. 9th , pp. 80, 81). The first three are the ones that are always about God and are ready to join him immediately, without any mediation. This is the order of Seraphim Candles and eyed Cherubim and Thrones Holiness. Second class is that of ownership of the Powers and Powers. Project are the arrangements of big things, the actions of miracles and the Trinity, the Holy, Holy, Holy. Third and last is the order of the authorities, the Archangels and Angels, the feature of which is the “functional in diakoniais and finally the sacred hymn Alleluia” (Philokalia, Vol. 3rd, pp. 354, 355). The work of art is of Russian origin

σηκώθηκε πάνω, πρόσεξε ότι ένας ένας άρχισαν να αποχωρούν, αφήνοντάς τον μόνο του με τη γυναίκα. Κι εκείνος τη ρώτησε : Πού είναι οι κατήγοροί σου;

A mildly abstracted sketch of an angel playing the violin by the artist Costas Parthenis . Born in Alexandria to an Italian mother and Greek father, Constantinos (or Costas for short) is a distinguished Greek painter known for moving away from the Greek academic tradition of the 19th century by introducing modern elements together with traditional themes (such as the figure of Christ) into his art. The back of the drawing is stamped and signed as authentic by the artist’s son, Nikos.
