Όταν καθαριστούν, τα πουλιά περνούνται πάνω σε φύλλα φοινικιάς σε δωδεκάδες καί προσφέρονται στην αγορά είτε βρασμένα είτε συσκευασμένα σε ξύδι. Σε μια καλή περίοδο αμπελοπουλιών το εισόδημα του Παραλιμνιού ανέρχεται σε έξη ή επτά χιλάδες λίρες. Φέτος θά γίνει εξαγωγή αμπελοπουλιών σε μπουκάλες στό Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο σε αμειπτικές τιμές. Και αν επιτύχουν, θά γίνουν εξαγωγές και σ’ άλλες χώρες στο εγγύς μέλλον.
