Subject The topic of the resource Maronites--Events--Cyprus Μαρωνίτες--Εκδηλώσεις--Κύπρος Description An account of the resource Το Υπουργείο Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού σε συνεργασία με το γραφείο Εκπροσώπου των Μαρωνιτών στη Βουλή και την Επιτροπή Εμπειρογνωμόνων για την Κυπριακή Μαρωνιτική Αραβική γλώσσα διοργάνωσαν δημοσιογραφική διάσκεψη στην οποία παρουσιάστηκαν τα αποτελέσματα των τριών πρώτων φάσεων του ερευνητικού προγράμματος του Υπουργείου Παιδείας για τη δημιουργία Αρχείου Προφορικής Παράδοσης για την Κυπριακή Μαρωνιτική Αραβική γλώσσα. Στη διάσκεψη παρευρέθηκαν ο Επίτροπος Προεδρίας για Ανθρωπιστικά Θέματα κ. Φώτης Φωτίου, ο Εκπρόσωπος Μαρωνιτών στη Βουλή κ. Αντώνης Χ’ Ρούσος, ο Υπουργός Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού κ. Κώστας Καδής, ακαδημαϊκοί και εκπαιδευτικοί. Στη φωτογραφία διακρίνονται επίσης ο κ. Νίνος Χατζηρούσσος, τέως Εκπρόσωπος των Μαρωνιτών στη Βουλή, και ο Δρ. Μιχάλης Χ’ Ρούσος, Πρόεδρος του Σωματείου Χκι Φι Σάννα – Μίλα στη γλώσσα μας. Η Κυπριακή Μαρωνιτική Αραβική αποτελεί μειονοτική γλώσσα της Κύπρου από τις 17 Οκτωβρίου 2008. Εμπεριέχει αραμαικές λέξεις, τη γλώσσα που μιλούσε ο Χριστός, και ομιλείται αδιάκοπα στον Κορμακίτη από την άφιξη των Μαρωνιτών στην Κύπρο. Διασώθηκε μέσω της προφορικής μετάδοσης. Με την αναγνώριση της ως μειονοτική γλώσσα το Υπουργείο Παιδείας προχώρησε στο διορισμό Επιτροπής Εμπειρογνωμόνων για τη διάσωση και αναβίωση της .
