He was one of the so-called "septenary" and the election of Hadjistyllis created great tension in the village, where the inhabitants were divided into two factions intransigents and moderates. Also in these elections in Lofou spent hundreds of pounds on both sides. In April 1923 the Hadjistyllis elected president of the Society of Wine Producers based in "Krasochoria". She was the first teacher in the school year 1937-1938 who served in Mixed Elementary School and had an annual salary of 69 pounds. Stasa Kyprianou arrived in Cyprus after the Mikrasiatiki catastrophe of 1922 along with four sisters and 75 other refugees. She was the first teacher Makrasiatikis origin who served in Cyprus.
